This week is still a very social time for Me and yesterday began with My nail appointment to have a christmas design done. Then it was a brief return home before My soon to be collared sub turned up to collect Me for O/our pre-Christmas lunch celebration. W/we had a booking at the Four Winds Restaurant in Broadbeach, looking out at the panoramic view of the Gold Coast and its surrounds.

It turned out to be both a day of celebration and a day of bereavement for My sub - his younger brother had passed away early yesterday morning which cast an understandable air of sadness although not unbearingly so. This was a special day for My sub (despite his grief), as I was presenting him with his Christmas present - his "day" collar - a sterling silver horseshoe shaped pendant set with a turquoise gemstone on a sterling silver chain. I will be organising the making of a leather collar for My sub in January and he will be formally collared in February 2009.

Lunch came and went before W/we knew it and I had to return home to prepare dinner for My two guests who would be arriving around 6pm, courtesy of My chauffeur who had been instructed to bring them from the train station to My house straight after his work. They were all very well organised and managed to find one another in Brisbane and travelled together on the train to the Gold Coast.

It was a lovely evening and My guests stayed overnight. I managed to get them back to the station after lunch today for their return home. Then it was a short nap for Me in mid afternoon after the late night and an early disruption to My sleep this morning when Fatty woke Me up at 4.30am with persistent miaowing, wanting to be let inside. Of course he has Me well trained (LOL) to do his bidding. There is nothing like a cat to keep you on your toes!

Actually this morning, I realised I had overlooked giving slave tate a task to do today at work. Bearing in mind he had a "Christmas Lunch" do at work, I gave him an appropriate task to complete and was feeling so generous, that I made a deal with him. I will let slave tate articulate that exceptionally well in his own words in his own blog
