Formal Collaring of My submissive, butch

Yesterday afternoon after lunch at 2pm on the 22nd of February 2009, I collared My submissive, butch, in a formal Collaring Ceremony where he was finally given his leather collar. As he considers himself to be more of a submissive than a slave (and correctly so), his collar differs slightly from My other two boys who are My slaves. butch's collar is black with vibrant purple piped edging and a celtic heart while the collars of My slaves are in reverse i.e. vibrant purple collars with black piped edging and celtic hearts.

The ritual involved four candles representing the four Oaths My sub would have to sign. The number four also symbolically represented the four directions: North, South, East & West. When My sub worked his way around to the fourth zebra patterned candle (the other three were purple), he found his new leather collar wrapped around the candle, ready to be picked up by My sub and passed to Me to be placed in position around his neck. The low lighting, the candlelight and the music greatly added to the special atmosphere of this significant event in My sub's life.

Once the ceremony had been completed, My sub was given the privilege of attending to My feet (another fetish of his). A salt bath followed by a foot massage was the perfect end to an important afternoon for My newly collared sub for two reasons: 1) it gave him an opportunity to reflect on the impact of wearing My leather collar; and 2), it was just the pampering My feet needed after two nights of socialising and spending time on My feet. Perfect timing as far as I was concerned which was not intentional.
